Michael Biondi - Captain M {the burn of a beautiful rum}

2014-06-16 1

He peacefully begins his journey,
sailing the seven seas of under aged souls.
He makes his way past regretful liquid and
stomach bile, but this does not stop him.

There he stands at the tip of his ship,
standing tall with one leg on the ground and
the other propped in position.

He lights a match to the dry wood of his ship,
the whole thing goes up in flames.
He begins to feel the burn and it causes him
to cowardly abandon his ship unlike the
respectful men before him.

He claims he’s making a leap of faith,
But the crowd knows it is just out of ignorance.
This man seriously thought he wouldn’t burn…

There he was, falling through mistakes and bile.
He lost his hat, his ship, and both his legs lack position.
The ignorance leaves him within the movement of liquid.

He softly lands, as if a net was ready to catch him,
But it’s not a net it’s a liver, a wrongfully used liver.
He remains calm for a minute or two until…

He begins to feel damp, his clothes are soaked,
and his body starts to heat up.
An echo fills his ears…”Feel the burn…this is a
Taste of your own medicine Captain”
